You know those caramelised biscuits you can't stop eating once you've started? Well, here's a tea that tastes just like them - a Yorkshire brew with the irresistible flavour of those crunchy continental classics, for a tea break that doesn't spark the munchies.

Caffeine in tea varies, but an average cup contains 48mg (based on 200ml water and 5 minutes of brewing).

How does it taste?

Refreshing, caramelly and gently spiced.

The box

The box is made from cartonboard, which is made from trees – a renewable resource that can easily be replenished.

This goes in your paper and cardboard recycling.

The tea bags

75% of the tea bag material is natural-based fibres: a mix of wood pulp and either abaca (a kind of banana plant) or rayon (made from woodpulp). 25% is an oil-based plastic sealing material called polypropylene, but we plan to switch that to what we now use to seal most of our other tea bags - a renewable, plant-based, industrially compostable bioplastic called Polylactic Acid (PLA), which is made from cornstarch.

At the moment, these should go in your refuse bin.

The inner wrap

This is made from metallised polypropylene (an oil-based plastic). This can be recycled by taking it to your local supermarket collection point.

what is Caramelised Biscuit Brew

We already make Malty Biscuit Brew, so how is this different? It’s all about flavour – where our regular Malty Biscuit Brew captures malty biscuitiness (think malted milks, custard creams and digestives), Caramelised Biscuit Brew tastes like those moreish, almost toffee-ish Speculoos biscuits that we all know and love. The best bit, of course, is that behind that lovely flavour lies a cracking, full-strength cup of Yorkshire Tea.
