How many tea bags should go in a teapot?
Add one tea bag per person plus one extra tea bag ‘for the pot’. So if you’re brewing for two people, use three tea bags and half fill the teapot. If you’re brewing for four people, add five tea bags and fill the teapot.
Do Yorkshire Tea teapots have a filter?
They don’t – so you’ll need a fine tea strainer if you’re brewing with loose leaf.
Does Yorkshire Tea make tea sets?
Not a whole one – but we make mugs to match this teapot! And tea to go in it, obviously.
Does Yorkshire Tea make mini teapots or teapots for one?
We don’t, but this teapot still makes a lovely brew for one person. Just add one tea bag and around 300ml of water.

Are Yorkshire Tea teapots dishwasher-safe?
It shouldn’t break if you put it in the top rack… but honestly, it’s best not to put a teapot in the dishwasher (see below).
What’s the best way to clean the inside of a teapot, including the spout?
Just give it a rinse with hot water and let it air dry.
