Yorkshire Trees

Over the years Bettys & Taylors Group have funded the planting of over 8 million trees around the world, including significant tree planting projects in Kenya, Ethiopia, India, and the UK. We’ve worked with leading charities such as the Woodland Trust, Oxfam, Groundworks, and the Rainforest Foundation UK, as well as schools and conservation groups.

2025 marked a decade of Yorkshire Tea partnering with the International Small Group Tree Planting Program (TIST) in Kenya. This was one of our longest running VCI partnerships and while it is coming to a conclusion, it continues to benefit farmers and communities in tea growing regions with nearly 5 million trees planted. Closer to home, since 2022, Bettys & Taylors Group’s five-year partnership with the Woodland Trust has been supporting nature recovery at Snaizeholme – one of the Trust’s flagship habitat restoration projects in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales. Through this collaboration, Bettys & Taylors has funded the planting of 50,000 native broadleaved trees across nearly 32 hectares of the valley.
